• Farmer’s Market – go grab some fresh fruit at the local Farmer’s Market. Many cities now have their own, usually held on Thursdays. Visit your city’s website for more information.

According to the website www.mnchildcare.org the average rate for an infant in a child care center is $258.00 per week and $214.00 per week for a pre-schooler (as of March 2006).

The cost of a Nanny ($10-$18 per hour) depends on each position however is very close to the cost of a center when you have 2 children.
